If you have been around awhile you have come to know (and hopefully love) our Monday K-cup coffee recipes. I love fun, easy to make coffee drinks. They are a simple indulgence that can usually be made with ingredients already in your kitchen. There will be no running to the local coffee shop around here, no sir, we have Keurig’s in our kitchen that make these recipes easy peasy.
Up this week…4 x Chocolate Coffee Brownies!
One of the best things I learned at the few cooking classes I have taken is how to accentuate certain flavors. For example chocolate. There are three things that enhance the flavor of chocolate; cinnamon, chili pepper and COFFEE! When I stumbled across a coffee brownie recipe on Cooks.com, I knew it would A. be delicious and B. I had to adapt it to suit my Keurig obsession. The original recipe was a triple chocolate brownie, I decided that wasn’t quite enough chocolate for me, nope I need 4 x chocolate!
Without further ado I present to you Keurig Kcup 4 x Chocolate Coffee Brownies…
You will need:
1egg slightly beaten
1 box fudge brownie mix
1/4 c oil
1/4 c coffee liqueur (I used Tia Maria)
1/4 c Chocolate Glazed Donut Keurig Kcup coffee brewed on the lowest water setting of your Keurig.
3/4 c milk chocolate chips
3/4 c white chocolate chips
1/2 c semi sweet chocolate chips
1c chopped walnuts
Combine egg, brownie mix, cooking oil, coffee liqueur, Kcup coffee, chocolate pieces and nuts. Stir until combined. Spread in greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
This is a little bit of chocolate heaven with a splash of pure coffee joy… what could be better?
