We have enjoyed sharing our Monday coffee recipes so much that we have decided to expand our horizons with a new once a month series of dessert recipes! But, these aren’t just any old desserts. We have hand selected easy to prepare, simple recipes that pair well with, you guessed it…Kcup coffee! Not only will we include a delicious dessert recipe but, we will suggest a Keurig Kcup coffee to enjoy with it for optimal taste!
With out further ado please welcome our first amazing dessert…easy peasy Apple Cream Cheese Crescents.
Isn’t she beautiful?! This little baby is so easy to make with BIG taste results. Perfect to whip up for the last-minute guest or a Sunday morning treat.
You will need:
- 1 container of refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/8 cup applesauce
- Butterscotch Chips (optional)
Remove the crescent rolls from the container and separate into individual pieces of dough triangles.
Soften the cream cheese in the microwave so it is east to spread.
Place a very small drop of cream cheese and applesauce (about 1 teaspoon or less of each) on the large end of each crescent roll triangle. Roll up towards the small end, shape, and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
If desired, melt the butterscotch chips and drizzle over the finished product.
How easy is that? No baking skill required here!
There are quite a few taste combinations involved in Apple Cream Cheese Crescents all coming together in a perfect marriage. For that reason, we would suggest a traditional roast coffee rather than a flavored. Why try to top perfection by adding yet another dimension to the mix. Stick with a medium roast, non flavored coffee and your taste buds will thank you.
