Back by popular demand- Friday Kcup reviews! Every Friday at Cross Country Cafe we host a flavor review. Let's face it the selection of K-cups we have to choose from is huge, how do you pick the right one? Who wants to buy an entire box and not like it?! Our goal is to describe how the coffee or tea tastes in simple layman's terms so that you can determine if it suits your preferences.
Let's get to the review, up this week...Cafe Mocha.
Cafe Mocha is a coffee house favorite neatly packed into a Keurig Kcup by the experts in indulgence- Cafe Escapes.
Cafe Mocha is one of the most popular coffee house drinks. This delicious treat combines creamy chocolate with a dark roast coffee or espresso. Honestly, how can you ever go wrong when you combine coffee and chocolate?!
Do you remember last week how I had a bit of trouble with my review of REVV because it simply was not the Kcup for me? This week, I have the complete opposite problem... I love Cafe Mocha Kcups so much that I am have to hold back from shouting TRY THIS KCUP NOW, YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Ok, now that I got that out, let's move on to the review.
Although I chose to brew my Cafe Mocha Kcup on the middle water setting of my Keurig, I do know from experience that it has enough body to be prepared on the largest water setting for a nice full cup.
You can see that it looks similar to hot cocoa but, there is coffee in there trust me! Cafe Mocha has a very creamy body making it extremely enjoyable to drink. From the first sip, I was in chocolate heaven. Chocolate paired with just the right amount of coffee that is.
I view Cafe Mocha as an adult hot cocoa. The same sweet enjoyment with a little kick to satisfy sophisticated adult taste buds.
I would recommend this Kcup to anyone who enjoys hot cocoa or chai latte. Light and medium roast fans, this would be a great addition to your Keurig Kcup supply. Dark roast drinkers, I cant say that you would not enjoy this Kucp either. If there is anyone on the planet that simply does not like chocolate, you are the only person I can think of that should avoid this Kcup although, I don't think you really exist : )
