I have to tell you right off the bat that I am slightly biased when it comes to Pomegranate Raspberry tea, it happens to be one of my favorite brew over ice varieties. I will do my best not to gush too much.
Pomegranate Raspberry is a brew over ice K-cup tea brought to us by Twinings of London. Twinings has been in the tea business for over 300 years and in that time have become true experts in the industry. Although they have been around since the 1700's they still maintain remarkable innovation, jumping on the K-cup bandwagon early on.
I chose to brew my tea on the lowest water setting of my Keurig (as you should do with all brew over ice K-cups). The appearance was a nice caramel color with minimal translucency.
The first word that comes to mind when I sipped this tea is light. The fruit flavor is minimal, just enough to sweeten the drink modestly. My favorite thing about this K-cup is that you taste tea, it is not masked by overpowering fruit flavor. The fruit acts as an accent rather than the dominant feature.
The best news is the ingredients are 100% all natural and calorie free! I prefer to drink this K-cup iced tea as is, I don't add a thing. If you would like a bit more sweetness, add whatever you would like (make sure that add any sugar or substitute to the cup before you brew so that it will dissolve completely.) Pomegranate Raspberry puts you in charge, I love having options!
Have you tried any of the Twinings brew over ice teas? How do you think they compare to other brands?
