I have to come clean, I have been cheating. Everyday. In my own home.
Don't worry husband, you are my one and only. It is my Keurig that I have betrayed.
I could't help it, I was feeling unfulfilled in my relationship. Don't get me wrong, my brewer is still my true love but, you can love two at once and I have fallen head over heels for Nespresso.
The one thing that Keurig lacks is the ability to brew a high quality espresso, and man oh man do I love me a good espresso. I now have a beautiful red Nespresso brewer sitting on my counter to fill that void. She definitely does not get used as often as Keurig but, when the urge strikes to sip on a rich espresso, Nespresso is to whom I turn.
The two quite frankly are the perfect combination in any coffee brewing station. Having the both units has really expanded my choices and taken my coffee options to new heights. Including this weeks recipe...
You will need:
- Start by brewing your India Spice Chai tea on the lowest water setting of your Keurig brewer.
- Next brew your Hiline Chelsea capsule on the lowest water setting of your Nespresso directly into the same mug that already contains the tea.
- Add a splash of milk.
- Sip and enjoy!
*You can also use Vanilla Chai K-cups in this recipe for an added twist!
I love the unique combination of this recipe. Who would have thought that coffee and tea together in one mug would make such a great tasting treat? Kinda like my Keurig and Nespreso- they are simply a match made in heaven!
