Peach Iced tea is a brew over ice K-cup brought to us by none other than Snapple- the ultimate authorities on iced tea.  I cant get over the fact that I can now brew Snapple tea right in my own kitchen.  Whenever I want a quick refresher and water just wont do, I have been turning to their raspberry tea, I am thrilled to add another choice to our already full K-cup cupboard!

As with all brew over ice K-cups, I chose to brew my tea on the lowest water setting of my Keurig brewer. Cold coffees and teas taste best with a very generous amount of ice, as in fill it to the tippy top of your cup. If you use any of the larger water settings on your Keurig first of all your cup will overflow and second, you beverage will taste watered down.

The appearance was a very thick rich brown.  So much that I decided to add even more ice.
I always allow my iced K-cup drinks to sit for 2-3 minutes after brewing to allow the ice time to cool the liquid.  Even then there was surprisingly little translucency.

The first sip was absolutely packed with flavor.  The taste of sweet peach flooded my tongue and was followed by a very mild amount of tea taste.  The combination of the two is quite unique and appealing.  The peach lingered for quite some time, the finish was crisp and refreshing.  Tea is definitely a secondary attribute to this beverage, the peach is front and center. The body and mouth feel are thick and silky - very reminiscent of a traditional southern sweet tea.

Not only will this K-cup cool you down on a hot day but, it will also satisfy your sweet tooth. At under 100 calories you can indulge everyday!

If you are a lover of everything peach as I am, this is a great one for you.  Those looking for an alternative to soda, you have found your perfect substitute.  If you are an unsweetened tea drinker, this is not the K-cup for you.

Have you tried any of the Snapple Keurig K-cup teas?  Which is your favorite?
