Can you make espresso in a Keurig® brewer?

Sort of. There are two different uses of the word espresso. The correct connotation refers to a method of coffee brewing that requires an espresso maker. It's a complicated process of pressure and heat that Keurig® brewers can't mimic.

Espresso also refers to a roasting style of a dark beans that are finely ground. A few K-Cup® coffee pods match this process and taste very similar to espresso. If you are not a coffee purist, these options will suit you fine.

Can you make iced coffee?

Absolutely. And you don't even need anything special. All you have to do is brew your favorite K-Cup® over a tall cup of ice. Dark roasts work best and you should always use a plastic cup.

Can you make tea?

Yes. There are hundreds of K-Cup® teas available. You should not use loose tea in a My K-Cup® reusable filter. The tea leaves may jam the brew needles. It is for this reason, you should run a water only brew cycle between each cup of tea.

Yes, it works great for instant hot water. Simply run a water only brew cycle. To do this, perform the same steps you would to make a cup of coffee. But, do not insert a K-cup® pod.

Can you make lattes?

Yes, if you have the K-Cafe® you can make latte and cappuccino. Otherwise, you  can use the espresso style pods mentioned above with steamed milk  for similar results.

Can you make cold brew?

No. Cold brew coffee is prepared by steeping grounds overnight in water. You can not duplicate that process with any coffee maker.

Is there a Keurig® machine with a timer?

Yes. The K-Elite®, K-Supreme®, and K-Duo® come with an auto on/off feature. But, the models change often. You should check for updates before you commit to one of these options.

Never. You can not put anything in the reservoir of your coffee maker except water. Doing so will damage the machine and void the warranty.

How do I install a water filter?

We always recommend using a water filter for your Keurig® brewer. Filtered water will make your coffee taste better, and your unit last longer. Luckily, Keurig® made this easy for us with a filter designed for use in their equipment. The filter clicks in the water reservoir using these directions.
