All About Keurig Mini Brewers

Keurig Mini brewers have quickly become one of the most popular options when it comes to single serve coffee makers and for good reason.  First of all, they are cute as a button.  They are small in stature, come in an amazing array of colors and can even be customized with your favorite college decals (click here to browse the available designs). The Keurig Mini is a perfect fit for college dorms, campers, boats and my night stand- don't judge : )

The Keurig Mini works a bit differently than standard size units. Once you decide that the Mini is a good option for you and take the plunge into Keurig Kcup coffee brewing, there are a few things you need to know.  We have compiled a list of Keurig Mini FAQ's for your convenience:

1) Where can I find the serial number?
The serial number is located on the bottom of the machine. 

2) What are the dimensions of a Keurig Mini coffee brewer?
10.8"Hx 10.7"Dx 6.9"W

3) How hot is the water inside the unit?
The water is set to brew at 192 degrees F.  However, by the time it reaches your cup it will decrease slightly.  

4) How much water do I add?
You can add anywhere between 6 and 10 oz of water.  Obviously the less water you add, the stronger your coffee will be.

5) How do I clean and descale my Keurig Mini?

6) Why is the brew button stuck on red?
The brew button will remain red while the unit is heating.  This should take no longer than 3 minutes.  If you brew button stays red for longer than that, there is an issue and you will need to call for assistance.

7) Why is my Keurig Mini not brewing?
There are a few possible reasons for this:
- If you are using reverse osmosis or distilled water, try bottled or filtered water instead. 
- Your unit may need reset, simply lift and lower the handle to do this. 
- You may not have added enough water, be sure that there is at least 6 oz in the water reservoir.

8) Why does my Mini keep turning off?
It is programmed to automatically turn off after a minute and a half of non use.  If your units is turning off more frequently than this, you will need to call for service.

9) Why is my drip tray filled with liquid?
This is completely normal, it is caused by splashes, drips and overflow while preparing your Kcup coffee.  Your brewer will let you know when it is time to empty your drip tray by displaying a red light.

10) Is there a warranty?
Yes, all Keurig coffee makers come with a 1 year warranty.

11) Where can I find the owners manual or user guide for my brewer?
