Ever have trouble deciding between a mocha and latte? With this recipe you don't have to!

This delicious recipe combines two of my favorite coffee house drinks- cafe mocha and cafe latte. In case you don't know cafe mocha is a chocolate and coffee combination. Cafe latte is espresso and steamed milk.

In this recipe frothy steamed milk, rich chocolate syrup combined with a deep, dark roast coffee…I think I have died and gone to heaven!

Easy Layered Mocha Recipe

  • Your favorite dark roast or extra bold K-Cup® pod (Dark Magic or any French Roast are great choices)
  • 4 ounces of whole milk (this is a treat people, not a time to count calories–use whole milk for a thicker froth)
  • 3-4 tablespoons of chocolate syrup (or 5-6 in my case)

    • Gather 2 large mugs, a blender and of course your Keurig® brewer.
    • Prepare your K-cup coffee on the lowest water setting into mug #1.
    • While the coffee is brewing,  heat the milk in the microwave and then froth it in your blender for one minute.
    • Fill 3/4 of mug #2 with the warm, frothed, milk.
    • Pour the chocolate syrup into the center of the milk.
    • Slowly pour the brewed K-cup coffee from mug #1 into mug #2.

You must garnish with chocolate shavings, sprinkles or cinnamon… its makes it look so much prettier : )
